    Travelling further about four hours, the town of Sechelt is a good stop-off on your Sunshine Coast. Several places to fuel up plus access to some fantastic outdoor activities, including the best kayaking and off-road cycling, are prevalent pursuits in Sechelt. The name Sechelt is derived from the Sechelt language word, shishalh, the name of the First Nations people who initially settled the region millennia prior.
