About Me 

Born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, at the age of 19, Justin traveled to Victoria BC to explore. Once he arrived and got a taste of the west coast, he knew this was home for him. He progressively moved up Vancouver Island, and decided to make Courtenay and the Comox Valley the place to raise a family. 

One of the keys to Justin’s success has been his life journey and dedication to personal and professional development. Justin is a licensed REALTOR® with eXp Realty.

Justin understands the mindset and psychology of successful entrepreneurs having started his first company at just 17 years old. Being a visionary pioneer and creating multiple companies from the ‘ground up’ in different industries is something that intrigues and energizes Justin’s creative abilities. He has forged the way in industries of carpet and upholstery cleaning, hydro-organic greenhouse food production, retail/online gardening sales, video game franchising/development and the cellular electronic repair industry.

Early in his career, Justin began to learn the value and skills of investing in commercial and residential real estate. His real estate portfolio includes multi-family investments, commercial/retail properties, residential development and short term passive rental income opportunities. His passion for serving others and building equities for generations to come are woven into his real estate investment principals and the core of Sims Real Estate Group’s mission.

Outside of business, Justin’s driving force is spending time with his wife Bianca, his daughters Emilee and Kayla and their three Labrador dogs. Other than family time, Justin can be found snowboarding on Mt Washington, RV-ing, fishing and island hopping in the summer, restoring cars in his workshop or enjoying one of the many golf courses in the Comox Valley.

Justin is excited to share his knowledge of the local communities and contacts within the Comox Valley and surrounding areas with his clients. Together with his team, Justin utilizes the latest technology, effective negotiation skills, and excellent communication to make the process of Selling or Buying a home seamless and enjoyable.
